I think the zip stick you are using is for metal or plastic zippers so they run smoothly but not for the rubber material that the docking end is made of. If it was me I would clean all the wax from the zipper and use the silicone based lubricant that the manufacturer recommends. After all they should know best.

No, Iam using the stick provided by the manufacture. I have not used a wrong "wax". It was difficult to close from the beginning.

At the risk of making a fool out of myself.
What I'd do:
- clean the thing (water + toothbrush should do)
- put some lubricant (that you know is good for that zipper)
- open/close it a few times without wearing it.

It should then run smoothly when you are not wearing it. Is it hard to do then? If yes, go have a chat with the guy that sold it to you. If no, put in on, try to close it. Is it hard? Yes, your method sucks balls. No, problem solved :D.
I hope you already did this, but from your posts I can't really tell what you've done and when you have trouble.

As for the "wrong wax", since nobody agrees on what the "right wax" is (ask 5 drysuit manufacturers, you'll get 10 answers), I wouldn't take a bet. We all have that one that we like.

Hope this kind of helps.

I was making reference to the manufacturer of the zipper, while you are referencing the manufacturer of the suit. I have seen suits with the TiZip installed from a few manufactures and they all have included the silicone lubricant. I am not saying that the wax will not work, but if the zipper manufacturer recommends the silicone lube that is what I would use.
