That's a given!

Okay, since noone else has any other suggestions (might I add that Cincy Bengal had a very good suggestion...), let me make one.

The Coral Reef Alliance is trying to reach their goal of getting 10,000 signatures, from divers pledging to dive responsibly and protect coral reefs. They want to reach the goal by April 22, Earth Day.

I think it would be a nice Earth Day gesture if we could get as many signatures from our crew as we can. Next year, maybe we should think about organizing a beach or underwater cleanup in a local lake or river?! Anyone ever heard of the infamous eastern KY pamper trees???

They have underwater cleanups right now at virtually every major lake in the state. The next in cumberland is this month I believe. You can find out more at Divers Den down in Somerset. Freeman Lake in Elizabethtown even has one. I don't know about Cave Run Lake...Yuk! Or worse...Lake Carnico.
