Taking cue from SuPrBuGmAn, here is a clean thread to talk about organizing some cleanup dives for Earth Day at Lake Thurmond or the River if there are enough people interested.

  • Who would be interested in the Lake vs. the River?
  • What times are you released from family obligations to dive?
  • Any interest in cooking out?

I will begin with I am up for either, the Lake probably should be the first priority, it is a location that we can actually make an impact at. I am available from 9am until about 1pm (daughter’s birthday party in the afternoon). Food is always a plus. I will bring a cooler of water and pop for all that can make it.

I would be up for a clean up dive on 4/22 - 'course we might have some difficulty deciding what is trash and what is a bonafide dive attraction.:D
Maybe we should check with the Corps this weekend and see if they have Earth Day stuff and coordinate our plans with them.
