I did this in January, thinking the early flight would be worth getting back home earlier. I'll never do it again because it's just too much of a pain. I stayed at the Four Points Sheraton Cancun the night before. There is NOTHING around that hotel so it was just sitting around bored. I didn't relish the idea of walking the streets at 3am to the ADO, so stayed in Cancun.
Unless there is a SIGNIFICANT savings, I'll just catch the 11am or early afternoon flight and stay another evening enjoying Cozumel.
