rescuediver, if "definitive info" regards interchangeable lens cameras and wide angle wet lenses you don't have to wait. I try to avoid absolutes as there are always exceptions.:bonk:..but that said there are no wide angle wet ports for interchangeable lens cameras. If they existed every DSLR shooter would have one. As others have mentioned there are some fair zoom lenses like the 14-42mm that you can add diopters to for shooting decent macro and pop off for decent wide. But as with DSLRs most end up with dedicated Macro lenses in the 60mm range and dedicated WA lenses like the 9-18mm or 8mm. Without a doubt shooting interchangeable lens cameras requires a shift in ones shooting routine.

which is why i went the absurdly expensive route...i will shoot macro with my E-PL1 with a macro lens (or diopter)...and i will shoot WA with my E-PM1 once i get the housing for it.

From what I understand the PT-EP05L housing for the E-PL3 will accept at least some wet wide angle lenses with a 67mm threaded mount. I don't have any personal experience with it, and was told that the results may not be the greatest, but it is technically possible. Olympus lists their wet wide angle as compatible with this housing. I recently decided against this option mainly because I don't own any wet lenses, and didn't want to buy them if I could just get a dome and lens in the future as I'm not that worried about being able to do both wide and macro on the same dive, it would be nice, but not a deal breaker for me. I did find one review here: REVIEW: OLYMPUS PT-EP05L HOUSING AND E-PL3 CAMERA | Deepshots that said they were fairly happy with the ability to use the Inon UWL-H100 M67, but unfortunately they only showed one shot using it, so it's hard to really evaluate from that alone.

Just got mine in the water, a major step up from the old cannon I had.
