Fantastic shots, Jim. You really put many of us (well, ok, I can only speak for myself, so I mean "ME") to shame with those. I think I've got 30-40 shots I like in my whole photography career so far, and you got twice that in three weeks. And the quality difference between the ones I did that I like and yours are night and day, to boot....You're also getting me to seriously consider a macro lens after all, despite my endless protestations that I just want to do 'wide angle'. If you hadn't told us I'd not have been able to tell which shots were crops....

Can I hope it's at least slightly the equipment to blame and I'll be able to take shots almost as good once I get my 330 housed? <wry grin>

gballard: Ah, I see what you mean I guess. I gather from reading a lot of other comments from Phil Rudin and the like that not many "real" photographers are as enamored of even the LiveView A mode vs. optical viewfinding...e.g. we are still the minority. They probably still might be interested in the E-3 from the faster AF standpoint, etc. But frankly I've still go no regrets for my purchase, even though I've yet to take it underwater. Since the body is down around $300-325 now if you're semi-patient on eBay, it'll be easy to get a 2nd or even 3rd backup, and its certainly nice not to have bodies twice the already painful price of the housing. :)
