Yesterday, Sunday, the temp under the Therocline was 52 degrees. The thermo was very shallow, about 25 to 30 feet. Vis deteriorated as the day went on down to about 20 merky feet, but the place was pretty crowded with open water classes.

Allen is spot on. Was there for last weekend. Above 30F was balmy and some (crazy) people were diving in shorts but when you hit 30F it drops to 52F. Viz was surprisingly good for the amount of people. We found even 50f if avoiding crowds. Best I've ever seen.

If you dive the peninsula side the wall dive to the west is not bad and out past the Cessna to the cement truck to the south wall wasn't bad either. Pretty much the NE quadrant is crap. If you hit the pump house early on Sat. morning, it should be good. We hit it Sat @11am and it was about 30 to 40ft. Get close to the bottom though and all the bottom walkers hose it up fast. (not newbie students either)
