They now sell a slate that has a map on one side and compass bearing to/from everything on the other. Very handy.
 
IMHO, laminated map is better than the slate. The slate is small [I first bought the slate, used it once and then laminated a copy of the 2008 map]
Not everything is on the map, but the rosette will allow you to infer to bearings between most items.
[Note though that the depths are not always correct on the map]
 
I made a version of the map that has a north up orientation. That old link does not work. I just uploaded it to SB.

Use Herbdb's map, it is much better oriented to the north and pretty darn accurate.

herbdb, I dove with you about 2 years ago at Dutch. I believe you are a retired pilot..
