That's right, bucko! Man, if you're going to drink, make it worth while. The only two American beers I drink are Yuengling and Chesterfield Ale. Also the reason that I like Dogbreath. Lot of hops in it. Great after dive stuff! 
I've been swilling down Becks for a little while now. It's been on sale for $22. Not bad. I'm not into the really 'hoppy' microbrews. Usually it's Stella, Spaten or Pilsner Urquell. When it's really hot out, I go Mexican. Modelo or Dos Equis Especial. Never Corona ! It's the 'Dutch' of Mexican beers. (couldn't resist) On the boats, Heineken, Becks or Modelo in cans.

Good choices. When I'm in Mexico, I only drink DOS XX. Most of my friends down there drink Modela and another one. None of them drink Corona, that's for gringos. Heinies are okay and Becks. Never had Stella.
