How do I know when air stops coming out and water starts coming in? I was practicing with my oxycheq rear dump last night and poured a quart of water out after the dive...
I always get some water in mine, too. I really don't think much of it, just pull the dump as I'm walking back to the truck and it drains.

Once you geta a feel for whether or not the wing is truly empty before you dump, you'll find you're taking on less and less water per dive. myself, I find that if I roll/tilt like I'm going to dump, then pat teh wing with my hand, it's very easy to tell if there's any air left to dump, before going for the dump cord.
