I have a waterproof Draco (crushed neoprene) drysuit
and more or less since I've got it I have difficulty dumping air.
It seems the only way to let the excess air out is to flip myself
in a bit of a backwards position. (chest facing the surface)
Staying in a face down position and raising the dump valve
(making sure it's the highest point) will not get the air out.
I already replaced the dump valve for a new one to no avail.
I use the bodytec undersuit, so it couldn't be the suit plugging the valve could it?
(BTW I do NOT trim on my drysuit, I just lift the squeeze a bit)
Is this normal? Do more people experience this?
(I know the waterproof dump valve's are in a bit of a forward facing position,
but there's lot's of divers with no issues so this would seem an unlikely cause of the issue.)
Am I doing something wrong?
