What is the purpose for the strap that goes around the zipglove?

In addition to tidying up and airflow control, I was told that the cinch strap will become handy if you have a flood. I have not needed it for that yet but a guy who had a punctured finger said the strap worked pretty well for isolating a leak. He had the non-DAM gloves. I have the DAM zip gloves with inner seal and have the straps too, so this obviously isn't the primary reason.

I went with a Blue ZipGloves...my suit should be arriving early next week with them on.

According to DUI, the Neoprene Gloves were made for durability for people who dive wrecks etc..not for extra warmth. Since I'm familar with the smurf gloves on my SI-Tech system I thought it was best to go with a XL. This will allow me plenty of options when it comes to hand liners.

By the way, Weezle is working on a glove liner...keep checking their website. It will be on there as soon as its released.
