Gaday Yanks,

I've just bought a 2nd hand FLX50/50 which has been great except that it leaks a bit from the inflator valve.

After pulling the inflator valve off, it does not seem to have any sealing around it whatsoever.

I'm not sure what should be there, but I think something like an O-Ring, tape, goop, silicon etc should be there?

Could someone with a 50/50 please post what 'should' be there so I can sort it out. The Apeks and DUI websites don't go into that much detail. Thanks and cheers. MB.

I "shouldn't" need any sealant around the inflator, it is designed to seal without.
However, I just replaced a dump valve, and smeared some aquaseal (lightly) around the inside seal ring.
Be carefull though, it can be a PITA to remove next time round.

DUI recommends a light amount of silicon sealant around the base.
