Have you got the plate(s) or just considering? If not, I'd definitely go for a DSS plate! I have a DSS rig with both a SS plate and Kydex plate. The plates are the main reason I got the rig, they have the flatter profile compare to other plates and thus place the tank closer to your body. The DSS wing is also designed to go with a DSS plate, the wing has a set of guidance studs which match a pair of holes on the DSS plate. If you really want to use other plates, you'd have to drill a couple of holes to fit the wing. DSS SS plates also allow you to add weight plates, which will take a few lbs off your waist.hani12:Anyone have experience using a DSS wing on another BP such as OMS / DR / Halcyon?
