Send a PM to Tech Admin. He can change it if the name is not already taken.

You should consider posting a good picture of your Soft STA on your website. :)

Yes, I know. I have to update the site and add about six new items to it.

Hi everyone. Thanks very much for clarifying my ease of reclining question comparing U wings with doughnuts.

Not having had any experiece with bp and wings yet this info. was not only reassuring but practically helpful.

Thanks everybody. Tobin and Patrick, thank you for your input too, especially as my possible "too good to say no to deal" is for another competitor's
product! If the Rec Wing and DR plate harness isn't to my liking once I see and try it on, I'll definitely consider yours. In fact I already have!

Splitlip, thanks for the welcome! I'm really regretting not diving over the last 20 yrs. Oh if only one could get that time back...

Thanks again all. Jim T.

Jim,

No problem. When you want to upgrade, give me a call. :)

That will teach Lamar for not joining this thread. :)

At the surface, roll over on your back, inflate the wing all the way and kick. Like riding on a float.

Best regards,

I agree 1000%, fill up the bladder and lay on your back, youll cover alot more area with less effort than staying vertical in the water column..

Better yet get a rebreather with ots lungs, put some in your wing and some in the breathing bags.. you can really swim confortably on your back!

As I mentioned about a week ago, this thread gave me an idea for a for a new wing, the Mach V.

It is a 32# lift 360 loop single wing, low profile, extremely narrow, internal bladder and a 360 zipper.

The prototype is in and if I do say so myself, the thing is wild.

A photo should be attached if I did it correctly.

Happy Holidays and Safe Diving!

Wow, looks tiny! When do you think it'll hit the market?

Also, you mentioned a singles-specific plate. Any idea when that might come to fruition?

Thanks for your involvement here. It's great to have such access to the manufacturers of the products we use.

Ya... I'll have to have one of those!

Hi Gregg,

It is insane. This is just the finished prototype, I still have to add the logo.
I imagine sometime in February. Would be sooner, but the holidays will slow things down.

The plate will take a little longer, I need to get time to get out of the office and visit my machine shop. That idea has gone no furthe than my head.

Thanks for the kind words.
