herman:
thanks for the report Jet, Bart is a nice guy, going to see him myself in 2 weeks. Now you know why I carry all my dive gear on board...I can live without extra shirts but not my reg.
Herman, I was smart enough to carry on my reg, computer and prescription mask. Bart had just got in a new shipment of BC's and they were easy to adjust to. Tell him and Bob that "Smack" says hello, and enjoy Hans' anticks at Bongos:D

Cecil:
Nice stuff, thanks for sharing. One thing I've seen with the Sonys is a tendency to shift underwater colors towards the green (I have a Sony DSC-P5). I've found that this can be corrected in Photoshop. I took your turtle picture from above and shifted the colors and sharpened it a bit. The result is attached.

I also wrote a primer for post dive editing, it's at Here
Thanks, Cecil. I like that! I've been contemplating getting that software, and I think you made up my mind for me.

Nice pictures! I tweaked the one a bit more, also using Photoshop elements

Tried it, don't like it. Knocks 2 stops off exposure. This perpetually puts the camera into ISO400 mode on auto, leaving the image grainy. Further makes focusing even more dificult under low light conditions. Also the color is so strong it's really hard to remove.

The filter is plastic and scratches easily.

Gert, do you have some examples to show me? I'm curious to see what effect it has.
