I recently saw on the Italian scuba forum someone saying they wash their pre-compressed neoprene drysuit in the washing machine, nu tumbling, but washing anyway.

At first I thought this was some kind of joke, but other people confirmed this

I'm not sure my suit would even fit in my machine, but...

Anyone does this?

Uncle Pug once bubbled...
I would never do that.
I would think that would be murder on the zipper...

I concur, good way to trash out a zipper.
I've done wetsuits in the horizontal drum machines [never the agitator type] with no damage, for a drysuit I'd stick with mild detergent (non allergenic - no dyes or perfumes) or Woolite, or even white vinegar & water, soak in bathtub.
Zippers cost too darn much to replace.

I have drysuits over 20 years old, still with their original zippers.

Just how many drysuits do you have Bob?

And where's mine? I'm still waiting for UPS to come to my door with the box!

Hose it out and put it on a trilaminate moisture extraction device!

Yikes! Washing Machine?!? Maybe wash tub.... Someone must have money to burn through if they put their drysuit in a washing machine.
