hey guys i am just now getting into dry suits because i want to dive more during the winter, something which i didnt do for fun before. I am looking into the Bare trilam hd drysuit. I want a suit that is good all around, and is tough, so i thought i would ask some opinions of this suit by people who have dove it!

I have a Bare XCD Tech Dry that I bought in 2004 for $850 (new, from divetank.com). It seems like a pretty good suit. I've got no complaints about it. It's a bit heavy, but since I'm not generally traveling with it, that's no big deal. It seems very tough, high quality, and absolutely very warm, even in our very cold water. I was in 5C water the weekend before last and the only part of me that was cold was my face. I give it a strong recommend.

You'll want an undergarment. I have the Bare T-100 Polar Ware suit. Very warm. No complaints.

Good luck!
