Never dived there, fresh water is too cold. I’m spoiled with the Scottish Lochs.

I bet that is pretty incredible, one great thing about diving, you can travel, I am looking forward to next year as I have the Farne Islands and Swanage Pier on this list so far, Scotland is a cert at some point.

The temperatures at the moment are not too bad, you don't feel it too much with a good thermal undersuit on.

Let me know when you plan to come up. I mostly shore dive.

What’s the temperature like in the Scottish Lochs in winter ?

I always assumed that it would be freezing cold in Winter in Scotland.

I was at Vobster and it’s already 9 degrees when you go around 30m
Last winter it went down to 8’C, but can go to 6 in March

Thank you buddy, will do. I have read so many times about the amazing marine life around Scotland, it's why I want to dive the Farne Islands, go and dive with the seals, something that would just be amazing for me.

Hi BT,

I dove Vobster a couple of years ago during a rebreather clinic, I loved the RED-BARE.

Vobster was cold then, and it was in July.

LOL,

Rose.
