Hi all,
Just wondering if there are dive shops who rent drysuits (women's, small-med) for a few days of diving Catalina or boat diving Channel Islands. I don't current own one but I have experience with them. We normally hit the area during Aug-Sept and dive wet, but we are thinking about coming out sometime this winter. My husband has a drysuit already, so it would just be for me.

thanks!

I'm pretty sure it was Ocean Adventures in Marina del Rey that rented me a suit several years ago. They will require a dry suit card to do it, though.

Sport Chalet also rents drysuits, in particular I'm sure the Marina Del Rey store does. Last I was there a year ago, they still did fitting on the spot. Will need a drysuit card though.

+1 for Hollywood Divers. Good people.

Back again for more questions....

I am hitting 500 dives this year and would love to do it in May-June-July timeframe at Catalina. Our anniversary is the end of May, so we might be able to get away for 3-4 days then.
Does ScubaLuv rent drysuits?
I have a drysuit card but haven't used one in 4+ years. But I was thinking that time of year my 7mm wetsuit and hooded vest might not be enough.

Also... does the King Neptune go out every Fri, Sat, Sun if weather is good? We have done Catalina several times before but always from the Great Escape, so we are thinking we would love to do it from land-based on Catalina, do some shore dives but also boat dives.

thanks!
