Hey... I'm buying a used drysuit for a great price, but it doesn't have a hose included, so I need to pick on up. Is there a standard length hose that's used for drysuits, or is each specific to the individual suit (or individual user's tastes/gear configuration)?

It depends on your size and set up. I use a 26" on my argon reg (BP mounted), 27" on my single tank reg, and 29" on my doubles reg. Of course, these aren't scientifically fitted and will also depend on how you route the hose- over the arm like the LP hose or under your arm.

I would start with your LP hose for your BC, BP/W, whatever and see how it sits with your drysuit inflator, you'll be able to tell if you have too much or too little.

My suit came standard with a 33" hose.

Thanks. I'll probably just call USIA and ask them what the standard size is that comes with their suits. Duh. Should have thought of that.

Thanks!

I have about six of the 33 inchers in my inventory...all new. I will sell you one for $20 if you are interested.

Thanks, I might PM you early next month, once I get the suit. I want to make sure it fits well before I go spending more money on it. :D
