Curious to hear opinions here. For non-trimix dives, are you using an independent inflation system (i.e. AL6 attached to backplate) or driving drysuit inflation from backgas?

I just don't log dives
I use a independent bottle. But that is only because I sometimes dive trimix and believe in always using the same configuration

Appreciate everyone's feedback. I've been using an AL6 with argon (for both nitrox and trimix dives) but since 90% of my dives are nitrox, I'll probably switch to backgas. I don't mind an AL6 on my backplate, but eliminating the extra bottle makes more sense.

I leave an inflator hose on my open circuit backgas regs at all times and use it for nitrox. everything else is an airgon bottle and i just tuck that hose out of the way

I leave that hose on my left post all the time too, it tucks away behind an al6 if I end up using that. The longer hose off the left post is mighty useful for inflating larger SMBs.
