With winter here, many of our discussions are turning towards drysuits so that we may know the comfort of diving warm and dry in the cold waters of our local swamp(s).
Ron Carlo (the instructor that CavernQT and I are taking our Rescue Course with) will be teaching a Dry suit diving course out at Clear Springs Scuba Park near Terrell Texas on Sunday, Dec. 2nd. This is a full specialty course and you will receive a c-card upon completion.
Cost for the class is $100 per diver, and includes Ron, training materials, and c-card. Dry suits can be rented at CSSP for $35.00 for the day.
Part of the instruction will include a discussion of the different types of drysuits, their pros/cons, and which work best for different diving situations.
If you are interested, please contact me or Ron Carlo.
