I was wondering if anyone knew what to use to soften drysuit cement.

I've a bottle of it that is still liqiud but could use some thinning down a little bit.

Is there any solvent that I can use to thin down the drysuit cement?

Much thanks....

Ideally you should check the label & see what was originally used in its manufacture.
Lacquer thinner should work in a pinch but may flash off to quickly.
Toluene / Toluol would evaporate more slowly, it would be my first choice.
If you can store the glue in the freezer it lasts longer, just be sure to have it inside a couple ziplock bags & maybe a jar, too.

It really depends on the manufacturer of the glue. If you have PB-300 glue from OS Systems, lacquer thinner and toluene will destroy the effectiveness of the glue. PB-300 is ONLY thinned with MEK.
