I thought I got a great deal on a trilam drysuit on e-bay and it is plenty large enough everywhere but the circumference of the forearms. The wrist to wrist seems good but I can't get my forearms far enough into the sleeves to fit much thickness of underwear.

So it seems I need material inserted into the arms. Anyone else deal with this? Any advice on a shop or cost?

Thanks

You are from MN check out Superior Drysuit Repair they are in Brainard send an email or call. You can also ship it or drop it off at the Scuba store in St. Cloud before shipping it off to FL

Superior Diving Repair, Inc.

You can take the suit in and Mark can tailor it to fit with you in it : ) for a perfect fit

Thanks for the advice guys. And for refraining from "cut back on spinach" cracks!

I have had work done by both gentlemen.

Both can/will do excellent work. That said,
Steve Gamble will most like be 30%+ lower in cost and most likely a lot a quicker.

I just recently had alterations done on my neoprene drysuit. I used Superior Diving Repair - www.drysuitrepair.com/
Mark does the work and is available to discuss the alterations. His wife Julie tends to be the person handling the emails and phone correspondence. I wanted the torso taken in a bit in my Bare suit. I had asked the factory to do it but they declined. I'm really happy with the new seams and the suit fits exactly as I had asked it to be. The cost was less than I was quoted over the phone and the return shippings was less than half what I had expected it to be. I will definitely use them for my next repair / alteration.
