Short of using something like ProPlugs to keep water out, what's the best way to remove water after a dive? I've heard of diver's using their own blends of household liquids. I'm interested in drying and protecting againt infection.

Thoughts on the following:

Hydrogen Peroxide
Alcohol
Vineger
Other Astringents
Debrox (I get substantial ear wax buildup)

I had a nasty ear infection last summer from quarry diving. I learned real quick to put 4-5 drops of "dry ear" in each ear after diving.

I think "dry ear" is just 70% isopropal alcohol...you can get it at Wal Mart or drugstore.

later,
russ

"Dry Ear" - Is that the stuff you buy for 'swimmer's ear'?
