My buddy is interested in buying a used dry suit. The problem is that the dry suit is one size too big for him. He can grab 2-3 inches of material after he has vented air from the suit. The seller claims that the larger suit is fine because u can wear more insulation.

The price is right, but I still think the suit is too big.

Anyway to get around this?

Thanks,
Hantzu

Was he wearing drysuit undergarments when he tried it on? If so, and he could grab that much extra material after venting, then the suit is definately too big and that could be a very bad thing when diving.
