Dry eye syndrome & punctal plugs

Anyone out there with dry eye syndrome who dives with punctal plugs? If so, what is your experience?

I live in a very dry climate. When I go to warm water destinations, I don't have trouble with my eyes at all because the climate is usually humid.

I have punctual plugs. They are permanent style and are completely invisible. I have no issues with them while diving.

Keep in mind you have multiple punctual tubes, so you are just plugging a single drain in each eye. At least for most people. As for being "over moist" no issues there either. My eyes don't go overboard with moisture though you need to talk to your practitioner about your case. I would rate the plugs as maybe 5% better in terms of moisture, so not a huge benefit but it is better.
