Thanks so much for your post. My crew was sent the link to this forum as we were boarding our flight home today. It was the first answer we had received about the outcome. I originally wrote the post above for another forum and someone shared it here (for which I'm thankful). We were saddened to learn that Barb didn't make it, but were so encouraged to hear that she knew Christ. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. Psalm 116:15

A close friend of mine was friends with Barb and her husband. He called me today asking if I had seen anything about this. I gave him the link to this thread.

He has heard, though it is not confirmed, that this accident may have been due to equipment failure. He hasn't yet been in contact with her husband.

Has there been any other information that would indicate this may be true?
