I just got back (yesterday) from Hopkins
it was about a 45 minute drive south of Dangriga
the diving was great, but with all the rain the current was going away from the cost
so vis was about 30-50'
and we caught a glimps of a small whale shark off the southern barrier reef
as for water, everyone (resorts and dive shops) had bottled water available
and the tap water looked pretty clean and safe
