Using a GoPro Hero 3 mounted on a Mako bracket modified to hold 2 handed with 2- 800 lumen lights and Mako filter (for Blue Water). Edit and color correction was done on Cyberlink Power Director 13. This was my 2nd trip and 4th attempt at producing UW video. Any suggestions on how improve will be greatly appreciated.

What I struggled with the most using the GoPro was steady video. GoPros, excluding the new Hero 4's, have no IS so every little movement shows on screen. I think the steadier the video, the better it looks. You'll need to practice and be cognizant of your movement. It will rarely ever be perfect but using software stabilization can help smooth out some movement, sometimes with great results. I think PD13 has this feature. I wish I had known more about software stabilization when I had my GoPro. Even with my present camera, steady video is still a challenge.

You could also consider WB correction in post to improve colors. That requires a bit more discussion though.

Thanks for the input! I have not tried the stabilization On PW13. I also noticed in the video how still my friend keeps her entire body completely still. I needvto eork on
