Hi All:

Well, unfortunately, my former company in VA Beach gave me a "pink slip" just after New Year's, meaning I needed to get a new job in 2008.

Fortunately, I had some pretty good contacts and I'm now working for DC Government.

I'm in the process of selling my home in VA Beach, although I'm still driving down there every weekend. My job requires me to live in DC, but I'm tempted to rent an apartment and head to VA Beach on the weekends. The trip down and back every week puts 600 miles on my car, so needless to say it's expensive and I'm NOT alll that thrilled with Friday afternoon traffic...

Anyhow, I need to start diving again, I'm sure it will be a mixture of VA, NC and MD stuff.

So, all you NOVA and DC/MD folks: HI!

Great to hear from you Andy. Hope all is going well and I'm sure Bobby will get a "hoot" out of your "resurfacing."

I'll be moving on to Idaho (Idaho?) in June...yet one more chapter in our Air Force lives. Be great to dive with you one more time before then.

Actually I have been in touch with the Bum all along. Living & working in DC instead of the Great beach & diving destination of Va. Beach. What a .
Of course all should know that I am just kidding with the Lug.
Can't wait to dive with you again Andy & remember I am not opposed to driving North & Cold, Green water does have a certain appeal.

IDAHO! Darn, son, you better plan on getting into HIKING or maybe river rafting!

I've been talking with Tom in Wilmington and Bill in Nags Head. I'll give you guys some dates shortly.
