Would you seriously consider adding 3000psi of oxygen to an aluminum tank on the supposition that it was "oxygen cleaned" from the factory? If so, you're a braver man than I.

Save your money. Looking at your current number of dives, before you use this "good deal" AL40/80 as deco bottle for nitrox 50 or O2 it will probably have to be re-hydroed.

Also, another reason it's not a good idea (on top of many!) is, depending how long you have it for you may end up needing a new Hydro before you even use it.

One more thing. If you plan to get into deco diving you really should have a set of doubles. A 30 pound wing won't be large enough.
