Does anyone have experience or advice between purchasing a Dräger OxyTest 2000 compared to an Analox O2 Portable, for testing oxygen content of the mixed gas in breathing cylinders after filling at any point before diving.

Price is one important element; size is the other.

Analox O2Eii is a great little unit.

Factor in a replacement cell every couple of years too.

BTW, as you’re posting in “Advanced Scuba”, are you after analysing trimix in the not too distant future? Worth considering looking at the helium analysers too.

The Analox and its clones (like that from Oxycheq or Palm) will do just fine.
The Draeger is ridiculously overpriced.

A slow, constant flow rate to the analyzer is likely more important than which analyzer you use.
