This would assume that you go in twice as fast as you could swim out. If you go faster than tha, you need to reduce it more....

We typically throw the established gas management "rules" out the window and utilize only stage bottles, preserving backgas as our "safety " gas. If you are penetrating to a point where the volume of stages used exceeds the volume of backgas, you start staging safety bottles periodically as well.
