I had a good chuckle to myself thinking about how much importance we place on ascending from depth at 30 fpm or less with the last 20 feet being a mere crawl...
versus
The olympic downhills skiiers who are covering 3000 verticle feet in 90 seconds.
(I realize that it's relative to the density of the medium (air vs. water), but the contrast was too interesting to pass up.)
