Excellent thread. Here's one more story for it:
 
Stop jumping at the wall in Cantarel, stop descending at an angle to the wall - all just to save a few minutes of bottom time.

Jump at 50', get to the bottom and then take the 2-3 minutes to swim out to the wall and stay on the bottom - it ain't fool proof but odds are better. That crazy whirlpool action up there just appears out of nowhere, I've seen it, it can come and go just as quick.

Cool divesite, just stay out of the mid open water.
