I used to dive with a snorkel and I'd breathe through it while the rest of the group was getting into the water. Once I forgot where I was getting air from and started my descent without switching over. It was one of many rookie mistakes I have made over the years but that one I never repeated.
 
I don't think that was a Fury Catamaran.

I don't mean to be crass but if you're only going to dive with a snorkel while you're upside down, you may need to clear more than one "check valve."

I suspect the only reason he was diving with a snorkel is because he found a stray one while out diving.
 
Looked like a Fury when the were hauling it out, but what do I know. It was just a drive-by gawking on the way to the marina to GO DIVING...:)
