We dove in Cabo San Lucas on June 19 and 20. It was AWESOME!!
We had been diving in Cabo a year and a half ago, with a different company, and didn't like the lager group size and no time to stop and look before the divemaster pushed us along. So, based on some recommendations we read on Scubaboard we went to see Baja Dive this time, and it was a great experience!
We went into the shop and talked to the divemaster, Carlos. We told him what we were looking for and he said Baja Dive specializes in giving a custom dive experience. Well we got exactly what we wanted! We went out with Carlos and he showed us a lot of really interesting things, pointed out a lot of different fish, took us to the sandfalls, the little wrecked boat, and lots more. Lots of time to look and take pictures, no rush, lots of fun.
We got a lot of good pictures, and saw HUGE grouper, lobster, octopus, frogfish, many kinds of rays, eels (green, jeweled, spotted), puffers, king angels, huge parrotfish, nudibranch, and huge schools of fish like you wouldn't believe.
We hope this review helps out anyone else who is looking for a good dive shop in Cabo San Lucas. Go to Baja Dive! Dee and Carla, it was nice to meet you, "muchas gracias" Carlos, and it was great to meet Silvia too. We will definitely see you guys again the next time we are in Cabo, maybe this fall.
