DIR- Generic Doubling the necklace bungee ?

Yup, bungee under the mouth piece zip tie. Never heard of one breaking

The only time I've had the bungee come loose from the zip tie was when I forgot to remove the second stage from around my neck while getting out of my rig.

Wait...does everyone here thread the bungee underneath the mouthpiece zip tie? I use two knots on either side of the mouthpiece, have not run into any issues yet.

Edit: Have not seen that bungee routing on a backup reg...yet.

I have seen people do both but I am quite a newbie

I keep a spare bit of bungee in my save a dive box. I lost the necklace once during transport, must have snagged somewhere and popped out.
