The ideal solution would be a re-designed iso valve that would close with one turn, I suppose

These are 1.5 turns... pretty quick shutdowns

Some Y-valves, but not all, have dual dip tubes. That makes the valve redundant, but you still have the tank neck o-ring as a common failure point

You mean tank neck o-rings aren't supposed to leak? No wonder my SAC rate is high!

Seriously, agree on such failures. In my 50 years of diving I've actually never had a serious leak from the neck o-ring, but have had a clogged dip tube. My regs are all tuned so they don't free flow (I use nothing but Mk10/G250s).
 
I am a reacreational diver and have three 15 liter Fabers with M25 thread that I want to fit with the Beuchat Y valve.
I have trouble locating a dealer in South Africa or overseas.
Can anybody help me.
