at least the takos wern't stuffed into a game-bag..
then taken home and put into a neighbor's washing machine

i've seen takos run like that at the first site of a diver.. (without messing with it)
in fact, i've witnessed some takos pre-emptively ink my buds.. when we hadn't even seen the octopus yet.. just happened upon it swimming over a reef.. then the tako proceeded to ink my buddy a couple more times, and all he was doing was looking at it..
