I thought I would put this out there for the Ohio Members of the GLWC...Anyone that travels I-75 frequently has seen this unusual landmark :rofl3:

Big Butter Jesus

You are too quick Walter...It was just a moment of technical difficulty!! :D

Jennifer:

That brings up one question..."what were they thinking"?

I drive that way quite regularly and still can't believe they built that statue. I've heard it regularly referred to as "Touchdown Jesus"...for obvious reasons.

John

Hey John!! Long time no see!

A friend of mine showed me that link a couple weeks ago, and I immediately knew where it was. That thing has always scared me. :rofl3:

mom insists her church has touchdown Jesus. She call this one the drowning Jesus. It's really apalling. Anyone go to or ever visited that church. I have to admit I'm a bit curious about what all goes on there... Have heard a variety of things... one of these days I'll just stop in.

Oh Jesus, I can't believe you posted this Jen. :D

I wonder how one approaches the zoning board for a permit...I can see someone going through a stack of applications

I want to build a new shed.....

I want to add a new room...

I want to build a giant Jesus

I too wonder what they were thinking when they came up with an idea for that thing...

I read somewhere last night that is cost like $250,000...I wonder what else could have been done with that kind of money. That doesn't include the lake and the ginormous amount of lighting.
