Does anyone know the best place to stay and dive in Bonaire?

Buddy's has no "service" so I can't see how it would be lousy. The Lion's Den restaurant isn't owned by Buddys. I like Buddys because I can dive the way I want on my schedule without DMs. That's probably true of most resorts on Bonaire, but Buddy's has a nice house reef and Capt. Don's house reef is right next door.

I think we've been to Buddy's 8 times; first few times by ourselves & then with varying numbers of friends & family. At one point there were 6 of us. It was a blast!

One thing to consider: food can be expensive on Bonaire, so we would get a box of frozen meat (chicken, sausages, etc), have it packed in dry ice in a styrofoam cooler. It kept us going for the whole week.

Of course that didn't mean some "nights out" at Raining Fishes or lunches as Julios!

Gee. Lemme see. I overheard Chris speaking on the boat. A total ************. How do I know? I speak Dutch and understand Papiamentu. He is rude and mean. His mother is no better. Hard to believe that anyone could go through life with such a rotten attitude.

OK. If you want to take a chance with a miserable vacation at Captain Dons , go ahead. Not me nor any of the others that have complained bitterly about the attitudes of the DMs and the staff in general. You sour it for a few and it comes back in spades to bite you. There are plenty of places to stay without risking a horrible time at Captain Dons. Maybe when Jack's gone, things will improve.
