Does anyone know if the Trident A148 is interchangeable with the Sherwood ?

That may lead to a problem, won’t know until you try.

Multiple surface areas are different between the seats which could alter the pneumatic balancing or balance out (pun unintended) and have no net effect — without having all measured (including orifice, bal chamber and poppet dimensions) and drilling on all the math, the only way is to try

Here’s an original Sherwood SR seat (red, R) and a 3rd party generic seat (orange, L)

The stem seems to be almost the same size but the Sherwood is just a hair smaller (shorter and thinner), but the brim of the hat seems much wider
And more critically the bore of the hole seems much smaller as well

I fear slight tolerance mismatch might constrict the air passage in the poppet and impact IP/cracking effort adjustment

It might work, but can’t tell without trying
Given that I only have 2 of these SR service kits, and how rare they are to get in Germany I’m not willing to try it out just yet
Maybe order one seat and try it

A viable alternative that could be worth it is getting the same seat (the generic one) from scubagaskets; for 4€ each, maybe get 10 and you total 50€ with snailmail shipping (or even split an order with some other DIYers Statesside)

I've visited the scubagasket web site (You searched for LP seat - Page 2 of 2 - Scuba Gaskets) but could not find that Generic Balanced LP seat you mentioned. There are a dozen of balanced LP seats, but each for a specific brand and model.
Could you please pin-point which one is a "generic" seat, such as the Trident A148.

They don’t have one labeled generic, but in my experience (singular) these:

LP seat for APEKS - 2nd Stage as SGAP 2034 SGRG 912198 (New) - Scuba Gaskets

Honestly I think only the Sherwood and atomic (the atomic ones have a metal backer) rivet seats are different from other brands, I even suspect the manufacturer/supplier to OEMs and Scubagaskets is the same (they own the mold), materials and QC managed by brands for batches

Maybe @Scubagaskets can shed more light on the situation

A148 (orange seat in both your and my pictures) ≈ Scubapro 11.250.221 ≈ Scubagaskets seat
These will work for Al, Apeks, SP, and as you tried before the Hog D1
(i get the A148 for my SP regs)

The Sherwood SR seat I showed (red) ≈ the black seat (SVHV7030) in your picture
I doubt it’s a good fit for non Sherwood regs

This is great info. I wish there was a way to sticky interchange info. I would certainly appreciate confirmation from @Scubagaskets on that if possible. If they weren't overseas I'd order one of each and mic them all to confirm.

You can also shim the spring to compensate for this difference in face height (And thus arm height), it will not impact spring pressure, just compensate for the height difference. In fact the reg manufactures explicitly mention doing this in certain circumstances.
