Does Anyone Have Info On THe Inon Z220?

This strobe has a focus light and a laser aiming light activated by halfway depressing the shutter. Does anyone know how it does this, and which housing(s) this feature applies to? Thanks in advance, Eli

If the focus light or laser doesn't work with your system then you can opt for a version without them - the Z220s.

BTW the Inon D180 manual is also in the library.

The owners manual was helpful. In the charts and fine print on pages 8-10 it says these functions work with the Inon Z housings. I still didnt know what that was but a search of the internet yielded the (Japanese) owners manual for the Inon X1-Z housing. I dont read Japanese but from the photos I would guess it is a housing for Canon film SLR's. (Someone please correct me if I am wrong. ) It would have been nice if it was a housing for a digital SLR

Check digitaldiver forum for lighting and strobe. There are several threads regarding the Inon strobe and some cameras and housing were mentioned regarding which will or will not work with the focus light etc.
