a women's BC with a 7 foot hose for your primary and a necklace for your octo?

I am thinking about reconfiguring my setup but I don't want to go the full out DIR setups. Will this work without getting the BP and wings?

Any advice is helpful

I have a set of wings and a normal jacket style bc. It works fine for both although i dont do the DIR wrap around thing with the hose, it gets tucked into some bungee cord tied around the cylinder.

I use a wing and 2m(7ft?) hose on my primary. I bungie the excess hose because if I DIR'd it I'd trip over the loop - I'm only 5ft 4in.

tuck the excess anywhere or does she not need to? I'm thinking that a 7 foot may be too long but a 6 foot may be just right.

I use a 5ft hose with a standard BC. You might want to look at a 5 ft hose if you are not using a canister light. It's plenty long enough if you don't need the extra 2 ft for some reason.

Well, last summer I used a BC (but not a woman's) and a 7 foot hose. I just tucked the excess (which wasn't much on my 6' 245 pond frame) into the weight belt.
