Sounds like most people are the same. I always rinse my computer and camera or leave the camera in the tank if I don't need a film change. I never rinsed my regs until the last day when I gave them a quick fresh water rinse then into the bag.

Once we hit dry ground, we hauled it all up to the hotel room where the bathtub and shower got a real workout. The note for the maid service was ignore the bathroom.

Once home I spent the better part of an afternoon cleaning everyone's BC and gear for storage until January. I thought maybe a quick daily rinse was important but I guess the next day will take care of the issues until the trip is done.

YEA!!! I didn't do anything really dumb by missing the rinses due to other things. :)

If on a live aboard...rinse after the week is up at the dock, hotel...or, if flying back home...rinse thoroughly at home.

At home you have time to care for your equipment with better facilities...live aboards carry limited fresh water.

At home...shampoo your wet suit with scuba shampoo. Rinse out your bc...inside and out with fresh water...that is, fill the air bladder part way and swish the water around...repeat...then dump all water out...hang and let dry. Rinse regulators while attached to a tank with the air on. Salt water is the demon...but for a week of travel and constant diving...rinsing between dives makes almost no sense...except for expensive computer and camera equipment. Incompetent divers that rinse out their masks in the camera rinse tank ought NOT to be diving.

Of course...get annual checkups on regulators and BC's...it is worth the money.

It depends on the trip. If I'm on a 2 dive a day trip, the gear usually gets rinsed every day. If I'm on a liveaboard or doing a lot of shore diving, the gear doesn't get rinsed. As for salt crystals forming - the gear needs to dry for that to happen. On the trips I don't rinse, my gear doesn't get dry either... ;)

Just my camera gets rinsed every dive , usually ill rinse the rest of my gear after the weekend.
