I been visiting the Boston Harbor for about a year, diferent sites, shipwrecks, dives around the islands, some lobstering, etc...

I notice Gloucester and Rockport are very popular sites on this area, and i had the chance to dive both, and do not take me wrong i loved it but i see no much diference with the Boston Harbor.

My question is Do you dive the Boston Harbor, Yes or No, and why i will like to know, i think the Harbor is a hidden jewel for divers with places that are not often visit for us, i can't imagen how many shipwrecks are there waiting to be discover.

Thank you for your feed back.

I prefer the harbor myself. IMHO, the only advantage there is to diving Cape Ann is that it's convenient for shore diving, and the harbor is not.

Not to mention the free parking and personal attention from the locals.;)

I love the Hahbah myself, but I'll give Cape Ann the nod for better viz. Even w/ all the clean-up efforts over the years, Boston Harbor is still not as good viz-wise as Cape Ann. Of course, somedays it's great out there, but the other day was not one of those, right Matt? Still manageable, though. Did you give it to Mike @ SSD over the 'fill' of your doubles?

The drive back and forth to Cape Ann from Norton does suck.

At the rate things are going maybe there will be big dig tunnel diving opportunities in Boston.
