Hello all,
Are there any DM's/DMC's out there that would like to have a place to go here, and, talk to each other about experiences and methods that other DM's/DMC's might find useful? Instructors have a place, and newbies have a place, but us? We have nowhere to go to escape the madness. Go to Suggestions and reply to the thread "New to diving vs. new to diving pro."

Dive safe/Train hard,
Joe

That's because DMs and DMCs should be seen and not heard...lol...

That really hurts. But seriously Suggestions will hopefully be a link to the thread. (new try of something) copy/paste of the link NOPE!!!!

I'm looking more for DM issues that DM's can deal with together. I realize instructors can help also, but sometimes have a different outlook than a DM might have. Such as, how one DM's instructor handled an issue with them, and how it resolved itself. Also, maybe little hints to keep their instructor happy, and so on.

Dive safe/Train hard,
Joe

I was just kidding, I have a lot of friends that are DMs (and there's nothing wrong with that)...lolol....

It's all good. I'm a big boy, I can take it. My instructor said to me today, things will be different training to be a pro vs. training to be a diver! He has been a great instructor to this point, and I have two more non PRO classes to finish(Normoxic and Hypoxic Trimixes) with him. I'm trying to get a thread started for inspiring dive pros to be, and am wondering if, that is a fatal move to the instructor/student relationship we've established so far. Also, for future references.

Joe

If you are a DM or DMC and feel the same way. Make a note of it at "site support-suggestions" if we end up with 10 or more that feel that this would be a viable forum we as pros to be, will be given our own forum for issues that pertain to DM's and DMC's in general.

Dive safe/Train hard,
Joe

Heck, I guess you wouldn't have too be a DM or DMC to feel it would benefit all involved.

Don't forget that Instructors are also DMs. So are you suggesting an area for DMs who are not instructors? Or only active DMs? Seems a bit too complicated to me.
